Landmark Vineyards Hop Kiln Estate Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2016 Review
For a Pinot Noir this is a big one, so if you're into the heavier style keep reading. First comes heat then comes fruit, with cherry cola liquor and chewy raspberry coulis upfront followed by dried coconut vanilla and chocolate ganache. There is an herbaceous note, bordering on rosemary, to contrast the heavier aromas, but only for a moment, as the sweet wood vanilla from the oak comes in and cleans house.
