Keuka Spring Vineyards Après 2021 Review

The Simmons family has been farming in the Finger Lakes since the 1960s, and today cultivate over 500 acres of vines near the bluff on Keuka Lake. The family officially took the helm of the Keuka Spring Vineyards winery in 2022. This dessert wine represents the family’s history and the history of their land, made from the local hybrid grape Vignoles. It has inviting notes of raw honeycomb — bordering on straight-up pollen — on the nose. The palate is all about texture, with wonderful acidity and a balanced finish.
