Kenwood Vineyards Six Ridges Russian River Valley Chardonnay 2017 Review
There is no complexity here and that’s alright because this wine is not about complexity. It’s all oaky vanilla upfront with a sweetness perceived due to the high alcohol (sugar was once alcohol, ya know). There is decent acidity and some other aromas that speed away like a scared minnow at first recognition such as banana hard candy and coconut. Not much else here, but it’s balanced and you can find it everywhere. Art opening? House party gift? This will do just fine.
