One Woman Estate Reserve Chardonnay 2017 Review

Claudia Purita embarked on her essentially-solo journey of planting growing and winemaking when she purchased an old potato farm on Long Island in 2001. This Chardonnay is spectacular and is aging beautifully, showing vibrant flavors with some slight complexity from the bottle age. It's right where it needs to be and its reductive quality works with the subtle fruit aromas. The palate is even and full with a nice grip and absolute balance. Looking forward to more vintages of this impressive Long Island wine.
