Johan Vineyards ‘Sapience’ Pinot Noir 2021 Review
Johan Vineyards is an 85 acre biodynamic estate winery located in the Willamette Valley's Van Duzer Corridor AVA. This area is uniquely positioned so coastal winds funnel through the vineyards, making it a great site to produce cool-climate varieties. The "Sapience" bottling is made with the goal of showcasing the most powerful expression of Pinot Noir from the vineyard site. It delivers concentrated notes of cherry and blackberry, with some hints of dusty earth. The tannins and acidity pack a punch, making this a great wine to pair with food.
