Iterum Old Friend Eola Springs Vineyard 2021 Review
Drinking Iterum wine is like participating in one of the most enjoyable and elegant science experiments. They work with multiple clones and varying terroirs to bring different expressions to their wines. And their labels reflect these ideas in location and clone type while this all sounds very geeky it's just very delicious wine. This wine comes from the 667 clone and is planted just down the hill from the estate vineyard. It has a shy nose with some quiet red fruit hints along with judicious yet present oak aromas. The palate has a lean character that will fill out with time. It is still drinking well now, especially with some decanting but if you like to lay down bottles this one would be a good option.
