Isole e Olena Cepparello Toscana IGT 2021 Review
Coming from the Chianti Classico zone of Tuscany, this 100 percent Sangiovese is a rich, deep, and powerful example of the sense of place here — but the winery chooses to forgo the Chianti Classico title to let the grape be the star. It offers dense, juicy cherry notes with a dose of earth. The palate is exactly what we think of when we think of wine from this historical place. It has the slightest grip around the edges and bright acidity, framing the concentrated fruit core.
