Hughes Bros. Belle of Bedford Review
Distilled at the MGP distillery and bottled by Pennsylvania's Hughes Bros., Belle of Bedford serves as proof that not all whiskeys "Distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana" taste and smell the same. Bottled at 52 percent ABV and aged for nine years, this rye stands out from most other sourced ryes on the market. With aromas of citronella, cherrywood, lemon oil, and peppermint and a savory palate with strong bursts of caraway seeds, this rye is a notable outlier profile-wise, and enjoyable release.
