Hahn Monterey County Pinot Gris 2017 Review
If you have never tried Pinot Gris and are curious but not willing to spend too much, this is your wine. From the Santa Lucia Highlands of Monterey County, where the pacific has the most influence on these grapes, this wine shines in its inherent ability to be refreshing and fruit forward. You'll find notes of peach, ripe pear and an intoxicating whiff of jasmine on the nose carried through to the palate which is all about mineral driven wet rock aromas and well interwoven acidity. It is a solid wine for less than $20.
