Groth Sauvignon Blanc 2017 Review

This wine is good, but it’s not Sauvignon Blanc. Well, it is, but it tastes more like a Chardonnay from Macconais, with notes earthy hawthorn and lemon rind. There is even a hint of consommé (brothy) and some cannabis. So yeah, a lot of interesting stuff going on here; it’s just not very sauvignon blanc-y and that’s ok.
