Gagliole Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG 2019 Review
Monika and Thomas Bär met in Tuscany. Years later they returned to the place they met and ended up with a winery. Lucky for us they did because of this wine from the Castellina in Chianti, one of Chianti Classico’s subzones. This wine is a wonderful example of the bright fruit and vibrance these wines can show. It is floral and perfumed with a slight tannic edge. The is a buoyancy about this wine even as the fruit shows depth. It has excellent balance and will please many palates at a dinner table.
