Freemark Abbey Chardonnay 2016 Review
This Chardonnay come in at 14.5% alcohol, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at the label, for the winemaker chose the smallest font available as if they didn’t want you to know... Not sure why, because if a winemaker is producing a hot white wine with aromas of peach and pineapple soaked in rum and lime oil with notes of banana and vanilla under a layer of sweet ether, they should at least be honest about it. Alas, this wine is probably great for a house party, gifting lovers of old school Cali Chard or art openings.
