François Voyer Extra Cognac Grande Champagne Review
Lengthy-aged Cognac often falls into one of two flavor profiles: rich and decadent or surprisingly fruity. This release from François Voyer lands in the latter, boasting bright tropical fruit notes with a tangy undertone of freeze-dried raspberries. As the palate develops, wafts of sandalwood and potpourri rise to the foreground while the Cognac’s tannic texture balances out a subtle sweetness. The $220 price tag may seem steep, but so far, every release from this brand has been exceptional.
