Flâneur X-Novo Vineyard Chardonnay 2015 Review
This is a very complex and dense Chardonnay from a single vineyard parcel in Salem, Oregon. Aromas include stone fruit, brioche, and a hint of lemongrass. Flavors include key lime and a hint of butterscotch. The texture is medium-full bodied, with well-integrated oak. This is a Chardonnay that fills in the gap between the rich California style, and the nuanced Burgundy style. There's a lot of intensity and energy in this bottle.
