Fattoria di Cinciano Chianti Classico DOCG 2016 Review

Young and loud, deep and soft, this Classico is a stunner and here’s hoping we see more of Cinciano (Cheen-Cha-No) on the US market because right now it’s not easy to find outside their estate (which has some legit agroturismo #btdubs) and dammit this bottle is only $12! Bright and vibrant sour cherry fruit mingles with quiet whispers of rose petal and violet wrapped up in a nice, rich soil note all existing happily on a refreshing, chewy palate with the smooth tannin giving every aroma its moment. This all makes for a wine that is serious and tangy-fun at the same time. Here’s hoping we see more of this wine on shelves.
