Emme Wines 'tell your sister i say hi' 2023 Review
Emme Wines founder and winemaker Rosalind Reynolds makes this wine from Colombard — a not-very-common grape in California these days. Reynolds sourced the grapes from an organic vineyard in California's Redwood Valley AVA and set out to show the texture and aromatics of pure Colombard fermented on its skins. This results in a yeasty wine with bright aromatics of pear, honey, and chamomile. The wine is well-balanced with a great texture on the palate.
