An obscure grape typically found in the south of France, Petit Manseng might find a new home in the rolling hills of Virginia wine country. Early Mountain is honing in on the state's unique Petit Manseng style with this elegant, complex bottling. It's wonderfully aromatic on the nose, with notes of stone fruits, white flowers, and citrus. Malolactic fermentation and extended lees aging lends to a rich and textured palate, with layers of waxy white cherries, peaches, and lemon curd. A stunning example of Petit Manseng that shows the potential of this grape in the region.
