It comes at you fast. A waft of cherries and fresh soil hits your senses, along with a kiss of oak. There are also smells of aged balsamic and hint of cola. The acidity is vibrant and lifts on the palate. It’s young, intense, and may soften a bit over the next year, but it is ready for sautéed duck breast with an orange glaze now.
