Dorcha Oranžna 2022 Review
Meet Izidor (Dorcha) Vehovar. He is a winemaker in Štajerska, a sub-region of Podravje tucked almost all the way in the northeast of Slovenia with Austria to the north and Croatia to the south. Made from Gelber Muskateller and Traminer in a 50/50 split, these aromatic varieties really express themselves with some time on the skin. This wine has an aromatic nose with notes of white flowers, pears, and spicy agave. It lands on the palate with some nice grip and a waxy texture.
