Domaine Pierre Martin Sancerre Chavignol Rosé 2022 Review
Pierre Martin learned from his father. When it was time to start his own venture, instead of going far he stayed in their home village of Chavignol with about four hectares of vines. In this village, known as a Cru in the wine world, the wines are different from the surrounding areas in Sancerre with a unique terroir. And this wine shows it in its expressive nature. The nose is perfumed, with a bouquet of aromas that will remind of herbs, strawberry tops, and a hint of lemon. All these wonderful aromas carry to the palate for a bright and lively mouthfeel with that racy Sancerre acidity. Such a balanced wine as it rounds off for a medium finish.
