This bottling comes from one of Domaine Filliatreau's top sites in Saumur-Champigny. The vineyard, La Grande Vignolle, sits atop a tuffeau stone outcrop that runs along the Loire river. This distinct terroir lends itself to a Cab Franc with rich and concentrated flavors of black raspberry and cherry, with an undercurrent of cedar, dried herbs, and smoke. A great value Cabernet Franc that showcases the elegance and complexity of this region.
