Denner Vineyards Grenache 2018 Review
Grenache in Cali is deep and big and love’s to shine on it’s own. And this one shines. I would say this is actually a sunny Grenache. It has the deep fruit depth, and smells like twiggy raspberries just off the bush, and has the spice of a ripe pear. The mouthfeel is all refreshing and juicy, with great acidity and an awesome tart finish that hangs around for a sec. It’s a big wine, but so balanced you wouldn’t know it. Marbled meat with a good char (no sauce steak sauce!) would be a hell of a pairing with this.
