Citadelle 'Vive le Cornichon' Review
Vive le Cornichon is the latest addition to Citadelle's limited-edition "Les Excentriques" collection. It's distilled in traditional Charentais pot stills and infused with 20 botanicals as well as hand-picked cornichons grown in France. Although pickle aromas are prominent, the gin's flavor profile is well-balanced and delivers a decent level of juniper character. This is a no-brainer for Dirty Martinis, mixed with dry vermouth, a splash of cornichon brine, and garnished with olives and pickles.
