Château Tour Bayard Montagne-Saint-Émilion 2020 Review

Just north of the famous Bordeaux's famed St.-Émilion region are four satellite appellations close enough to the limestone plateau to show individual character. Chateau Bayard owns vines in two of these zones. One is Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion, the other is where this wine comes from, Montagne-Saint-Émilion. The nose is mineral-driven with some aromas of black fruit and earth. The palate is slightly bitter with round, fleshy fruit and framing tannins.
