Chateau Ste. Michelle Indian Wells Merlot 2019 Review
The story of this winery is one of American perseverance. It is a winery that rose out of doubt in the 1960’s, with people saying there was no way to make wine good wine outside of California. They proved them wrong then and now. One of the most influential brands in the Evergreen State, Chateau Ste. Michelle has a long line of wines. Merlot has long been a focus in Washington and this is a good bottle to get you started if you haven’t tried wine from here. Oak spice and the vibe of a chocolate cherry cordial meet the nose with good depth and fruit concentration on the palate. All of this is balanced by nice natural acidity. A proper American Merlot.
