Cecchi 'Valore di Famiglia' Chianti Classico Gran selezione DOCG 2015 Review
Rich, full bodied and balanced with a tannin structure still softening its edges. The nose is classic Sangiovese, with the trio of sour cherry, soil and violets/rose petals coming to the fore upon sticking your nose in the glass. This wine can age a few more years but in it’s youth you can take advantage of that ornery tannin by enjoying it with lean grilled meats like a skirt steak or a pork dish where the lean fat will be matched by the wine, heightening the pairing.
