Castello di Bossi Chianti Classico DOCG 2015 Review
The tannin does some nice work here, framing this well-structured wine and focusing the classic aromas of sour cherry and waxy floral notes. The quenching acidity lifts up the more earth-driven tones, showing the contrasting depth of the wine underneath. This wine is deep and round, soulful and rich, but is kept in balance by prominent tannins that will last through to the long finish. The grip of this wine, with its nice sharp edges, calls for grilled lean meats drizzled with olive oil and crushed garlic.
