Cartograph Estate Pinot Noir 2016 Review
The nose on this wine will take you on a wild ride with Rhubarb tinged with rosemary and seasoned meat mingling with unctuous mushrooms, and that's just to start. Then comes the cranberry tang as the wine opens a bit with some added aromas of beetroot and a hint of smoke. It’s fun. The palate wants to be chewy, but the tannins say no, bringing more of an angular tone and a whiff of cigar box. It’s an awesome wine that needs some time.
