Brugal 1888 Doblemente Añejado Review
Distilled in the Dominican Republic, this rum ages in sherry and bourbon barrels. The influence from each vessel is easy to spot: there's dried fruit notes from the former, and toasty wood from the latter. All the while, the base spirit's character continues to shine through, lending demerara sugar and licorice notes. Enjoy in a fancy rocks glass, neat or with ice.
