With the Loire Valley in mind, winemaker Scott Frank works with lesser-known varieties in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, shining a light on their potential. The result is unique gems like this Chenin Blanc. It has a subtle mineral-driven nose with a slight hints of pear and apple. The palate is texturally amazing, with a rich, juicy fruit character lifted by bright acidity.
