Boekenhoutskloof Semillon 2016 Review
This wine is a gem. It has a salty sweet depth that really quenches your thirst. The fruit is very well balanced. It smells like honey and roasted almonds. This grape is not widely known as an age-worthy wine, but this bottle is proving that it’s possible. This would be an excellent wine for Thanksgiving dinner, or a roast chicken salad with goat cheese, walnuts, and a generous crack of the black pepper mill.
