Blue Run Spirits Reflection II Review
This stellar release from Blue Run is a testament to the prowess of the brand’s whiskey director Shaylyn Gammon. In a complete pivot from the profile of Reflection I — which embraced oak and sweetness — Gammon sought out barrels whose contents displayed prominent floral notes for Reflection II. While subtle hints of Reflection I’s characteristics are certainly present in this bourbon, its bright floral fruitiness sets it apart. To call this whiskey complex would be an understatement; it’s a truly exceptional release, and well worth the price tag.
