Bien Nacido Estate Syrah 2021 Review
This Syrah is from Santa Barbara's Bien Nacido vineyard, a renowned site that's also known to be the most single vineyard-designated site in the world. There’s a little bit of Viognier blended in with the Syrah to heighten the aromatics, and that definitely comes through in the wine. The nose has notes of juicy plums, with some oak and cracked peppercorn. The palate is simply amazing with more spice and the softest fruit core balanced by seamless natural acidity. This is a great example of the potential for Syrah in Santa Barbara.
