Bedell Cellars Pinot Gris 2021 Review
Bedell has been at the forefront of modern American wine since the North Fork of Long Island became an AVA in 1985. Actually, their head winemaker Richard Olsen-Harbich was instrumental in making that happen. They are well-known for their reds, but what they can get out of Pinot Gris is amazing. Waxy pear on the nose with hints of roast-y root veggies in the background. The palate is soft, with creamy fruit and calm acidity giving the wine depth. Great New York wine.
