Balletto Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2016 Review
With a slight tannic edge this wine is a solid, affordable, Pinot Noirwith unctuous notes of cherry cola and mushroom, balanced by tangy cranberry and semi sweet rhubarb. On the palate before you get to the aromas there is a slim bitter note from the tannin that hangs out but does not take away from the added notes of forest floor (wet leaves), clove and toasted coconut with a cinnamon bent. This is one hell of a go-to and will please any crowd.
