Badia a Coltibuono Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG 2019 Review
This wine comes from one of the most prominent abbeys of medieval Tuscany known for making wine to be sent to the markets of Florence. It's located in the commune of Gaiole, known for producing wines with good tannin structure and mineral-driven acidity. This wine shows that a little bit of age can soften the edges and show off Chianti's signature fruit profile, with notes of tart cherries and cranberries.
