Review
A non-age-statement single malt, Ardbeg delivers on its reputation as offering some of the peatiest whiskies on the market with this release. The words “Treacle. Bacon. Bonfires.” are printed on the label, and there’s no better way to describe this dram. (Treacle is a British term for molasses.) Beneath the thick waft of smoke, there’s no shortage of character to enjoy, with notes of candied orange peel and dark chocolate notes leading the pack.
