Annadel Estate Winery Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 Review
Dog- and wine-loving Katie Honey and Dan Whalen came to California in 2020 to start a winery, and founded the Annadel Estate Winery. They made a crucially sound decision in hiring Palmeri winemaker Drew Damskey to take on the winemaking side. This Cab is built to age and it’s just getting started. If you drink it now it won’t disappoint. It has focused fruit with a nice underlying roasted fruit quality. The palate has a rich texture that is balanced by firm tannins, still making their way into the wine. Sonoma is not as known for this grape, but it should be.
