The Story Behind The It Girl

New Year’s Eve is perfect for Champagne celebrations, but if you’re looking for something a little stronger — without sacrificing the festive flute glass — the It Girl should be your go-to.

Created by Lynnette Marrero, co-founder of bartending competition Speed Rack, the cocktail is a refreshing yet boozy combination of orange vodka, manzanilla sherry, and elderflower liqueur. Brimming with fruit but carefully balanced by nutty and floral notes, the It Girl is as good for a holiday brunch as it is for ringing in the new year.
