Coming soon to an Instagram feed near you: Target’s “The Collection” line of premium wines.
The retailer today announced the line, which includes a Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Wine Blend, Rosé, Pinot Grigio, and Chardonnay, all made with California-grown grapes. Each bottle features an attractive, instagrammable pastel label, designed by the company’s in-house artists.
Bottles will hit shelves on March 3 and are set to retail for $9.99. The retailer’s other wine lines will also receive new additions. California Roots, Target’s $5 line, is getting a Sauvignon Blanc, and Wine Cube, its boxed wine line, will now feature four-packs of canned sparkling rosé and sparkling white wine.
If you’re feeling left out because your local Target doesn’t stock alcoholic beverages, don’t worry: the retailer plans to start selling alcohol in 90 percent of its stores by the end of 2019.
