You may be familiar with the Economist Magazine’s Big Mac Index, which measures the price of a Big Mac in countries around the world, comparing those prices to figure out the relative strength or weakness of a given country’s currency. Well, say hello to the Moët Index, which plots the number of hours you need to work in order to buy a bottle of Champagne across the globe. We plotted this data, gathered by the American Association of Wine Economics, AAWE, onto a graph to help visualize it. Take a look at our graph below!
