Rosen makes the case that these brands, in juxtaposition with larger “comfort” labels, are the backbone of the drinks industry.

Rosen discusses the unique challenges that small brands face as on-premise sales have practically ceased, and advocates for storytelling and boots-on-the-ground methods to help small brands succeed.

Looking forward, Rosen predicts that on-premise will be critical to the revival of the drinks industry, with bar mixology programs becoming more important than ever.
