Welcome to Ale Academy (and Lagers Too)! In this Introduction to Beer Styles course, each comic-ale lesson will cover a type of beer — aromas, flavors, and a splash or two of humor and history — taught by the illustrious Dr. Janine D. Clerk. Dr. Clerk is the newest head of academic learning at the academy. She’s also a distant relative of the famous Belgian brewing scientist Jean De Clerck.
