Here at VinePair, we’re always looking for interesting ways to recycle the remains from a night of drinking wine. And, as I noted in June, while I love the idea of being crafty, I rarely find the time to be as creative as I want to be. That said, a recent Etsy exploration may have just given me the kick in the creative pants that I needed. A little DIY cork project research on the site led me to a number of crafts and ideas that I may finally try out myself.
But while Etsy is ever the source of inspiration, it’s nice to know that with a click of a button (or two), these items can be mine in an instant.
Here are a few highlights from my research:
Wine Cork Planters
These five little wine cork planters made by The Lovely Succumbent include corks with magnetic backs and the plant cuttings. They also do bulk orders in case you’re interested in using them as party favors! ($10.50)
Wine Cork Pushpins

Wine Cork Place Holders
While people usually only consider this idea for weddings and big events, I think wine cork place holders are a great way to bump up your game at a dinner party hosted at home. ($18.00 for a set of 25)
Wine Cork Herb & Vegetable Plant Markers
