Ziata Sauvignon Blanc 2022 Review
After 20 years of marketing her family's wines in Napa Valley, Karen Cakebread launched her own label 2008. The wines are called "Ziata" after her mother, Mary Annunziata. Karen, and Ziata's winemaker Jennifer Williams, wanted to craft structured and food-friendly wines that reflect the vineyards they are grown in. This collaboration has definitely produced what they set out to accomplish. The nose of this Sauvignon blanc is balanced with some background peppery notes. This wine is all about the texture with a slight grip and wet rock minerality.
