William Chris Vineyards Mourvèdre Rosé Lahey Vineyards 2022 Review
The William Chris winery was founded in 2008, and has since been a driving force in getting Texas wine on the national radar. With all of the exciting things happening in the Texas wine world, William Chris has set a standard in balance and fruit quality. This rosé shows the lighter side of a very bold grape, Mourvèdre. The nose is herby and balanced by aromas of strawberries and watermelon. The Mourvèdre weight is still there, but kept in check by lively acidity. Its dense texture and good acid makes for a great rosé to enjoy with food.
