Wild Turkey Longbranch Review
Wild Turkey brought on Matthew McConaughey as creative director in 2016. After two years working with master distiller Eddie Russell, the actor developed Longbranch, a Kentucky bourbon with a Texan accent. The whiskey showcases distinctive BBQ notes, picked up during a refinement process that uses mesquite charcoal. The smoke doesn’t overpower and instead works seamlessly alongside the whiskey’s fruity, honeyed, vanilla notes. The palate is fresh and inviting and the finish seems to linger for an age.
