Vincent Girardin Pommard Les Vieilles Vignes 2016 Review
Cherry aromas step aside to let cranberry in along with some rose petals and a handful of plowed earth. There is a calm hint of cinnamon stick and subtle strap leather. On the palate this wine is chewy and angular at the same time, with tannin that needs some time to chill. It’s not an inexpensive wine, but might be worth buying two to watch evolve.
