Vie di Romans Dessimis Pinot Grigio 2016 Review

One of the keys to an Italian wine lover’s heart is a spectacular ramato, and even though it does not say it on the label this is a ramato, and it's spectacular. Dry, yet viscous with firm edges, filled with white peach and sugared raspberries, this beautiful wine succeeds in being full bodied, grippy and lean all at the same time. It’s a bit more than one would normally pay for a white wine, but this is a ramato (copper in Italian) where the color is derived from skin contact and worth every penny.
