Valle dell'Acate Il Frappato 2021
Review
From antiquity to today the Farappato grape has been here in the Ragusa province of Sicily. And the Jacono family has been here since the 19th century making wine from this native grape. To this day they offer one of the best examples on the market. Frappato is a great served chilled, and this is one of the best on the market. It has a scented, floral nose with berries and anise aromas. I smell Toblerone and I'm not mad at it. It has a wonderful palate with a beautiful weighted yet vibrant texture, bursting with acidity.
